Happy Birthday Max!

 

Happy Birthday to this cool cat! This year has been a stressful one for us- lots of life changes- but I can't think of anyone better to do life with. 

The first picture is the first birthday we celebrated together in nursing school. It was one of the only times I've ever made food for him. I asked him what kind of cake he wanted and he picked out the hot pink one with sprinkles. The next picture is a few years later we were in Maryland for a family reunion during his birthday. We went out to dinner at a German restaurant and he got the wurst platter with mustard so he was super happy. 

Most of you are familiar with Max's "face" especially when I'm trying to take a nice picture. So to honor his day I figured I'd do a collage of him making a face at me all over the world!
