Year 3 of blogging

 

I cannot believe it's been 3 years since I've started this blog- so much has changed since April 2021 for our family. We had an amazing year! Here are some highlights 

April 2023

In April 2023 we celebrated our first Easter with our little bunny. We also took our yearly trip to the tulip festival 

May 2023

In May my dad flew into town and helped us redo our kitchen and living room. It was quite the project but so worth it. My mom flew into town a little later and we celebrated Mother's day and went to Snoqualamie Falls for my mom's birthday. 

June 2023

In June we went hiking to celebrate father's day weekend. Later that moth we also flew to the midwest to see family and celebrated our almost 1 year olds "beary" first birthday. 

July 2023

In July we celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary and our baby's first birthday with a spectacular trip to North Cascades National Park. Our little man also loved his first 4th of July. 

August 2023

In August we travelled to Vancouver BC for a few days before setting sail on an Alaskan Cruise. We also found time to go hiking in Mt. Rainier National Park. Right before we went on this cruise we found out that I was pregnant and due in April 2024. It made for a queasy cruise- but still very fun. 

September 2023

In September we did a road trip to Oregon and went to Crater Lake National Park and Newberry National Monument. 

October 2023

In October we had fun at the pumpkin patch and my parents flew into town for a week. We went to the zoo and a Seattle Seahawks game. 

November 2023

In November we found out we are expecting a baby BOY right before thanksgiving. We celebrated thanksgiving with friends. 

December 2023

In December we had so much fun celebrating the holidays with our toddler and my parents came out to celebrate Christmas with us. We also had a long weekend in Olympic National Park. 

                                                January 2024

In January we went on a "Babymoon" vacation to Death Valley National Park and Joshua Tree National Park. We wanted to escape the rain and cold and hang out in the desert 

February 2024

In February we spent most of our time preparing to become a family of 4. We celebrated Valentines day and we went to a "Harry Potter Experience" in Seattle. 

March 2024 

In March we also spent most of our time preparing to welcome our second child. We explored Olympia and celebrated St. Patricks day. 

What a wonderful year it has been!
